The building at Langener Römerquartier is complete. You can open a door, stand in the actual room, and decide whether you like it - which is rarer in a German new build than it should be.

Most of you have heard the stories, or lived them. The project that slipped two years. The completion date that kept moving. The rent you kept paying the whole time. None of that risk is left in this building. If you buy, you get keys. If you're buying to let, rent starts more or less straight away rather than in eighteen months.

We'll also bring the other projects with us. Several haven't broken ground yet, which is a different proposition entirely: you wait longer, but you get some say in the spec and you fix today's price. 3. Tax and funding, in plain English — The 5% special depreciation for new builds (Sonderabschreibung), degressive AfA, and which KfW programmes you qualify for as a foreign national.
4. A straight answer on your budget — Bring your last three payslips and your residence permit, and we'll tell you on the day what a German bank will realistically lend you.
